Usage

عِنْدِي is the first-person form of the preposition عِنْد (at/with) combined with the pronoun ـي (me). In Lebanese Arabic, عِنْد + pronoun is the standard way to express possession ('to have'). The full paradigm: عِنْدِي (I have), عِنْدَك (you m. have), عِنْدِك (you f. have), عِنْدُه (he has), عِنْدَا (she has), عِنَّا (we have), عِنْدْكُن (you pl. have), عِنْدُن (they have).

Examples

عِنْدِي اجْتِمَاع بُكْرَا الصُّبُح.

I have a meeting tomorrow morning.

عِنْدِي سَيَّارَة جْدِيدِة، بَدَّك تْشُوفَا؟
