Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Alyma ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of the service

Alyma is a language learning app for Levantine Arabic. The service provides educational content including stories, videos, drills, and flashcards. The app is available via web browser and may be available on other platforms in the future.

User accounts

You may use the app without creating an account. If you choose to create an account via a third-party authentication provider (Google, Apple, or Facebook), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose of language learning. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app's content, including but not limited to stories, audio recordings, and educational materials, without our prior written consent.

Intellectual property

All content provided through the app, including text, audio, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to Alyma and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes.

Availability and changes

We strive to keep the app available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alyma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
